Welcome to the Mathematics Department, Faculty of Mathematics and Natural Sciences, Universitas Brawijaya. This website is an internal & external communication media as a means of publication to provide information and descriptions of the Mathematics Department for prospective students, students, lecturers, education staff, local governments, companies, and all observers of the world of education, especially Mathematics.
The Students of mathematics department are who have high academic excellence and go through a quality-guarded admission process. Mathematics students have made various achievements, both national and international achievements.
Teaching and education in the mathematics department is carried out by 28 permanent lecturers who have Masters and Doctoral degrees from well-known universities both at home and abroad.
The learning environment is Student Centered Learning and is designed to give students the opportunity to take a more active role in their learning with responsibility for organizing, analysing, and synthesizing content from lecturers to students. Its implementation in the learning process includes the introduction of the relationship between knowledge and the real world, encouraging students to participate actively and think critically.
Finally, we hope that the Mathematics Department of UB can produce the next generation who are intelligent in mind and attitude, work hard and have high integrity.
